We are thrilled to announce our plans to host a unique online Startup Weekend event during Hispanic Heritage Month in October 2024. This event is dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the Latinx community.
In an effort to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship across the continent, we extend an open invitation to other event organizers. By hosting similar events during the last weekend of October, we can create a unified, continent-wide celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and entrepreneurship.
Our initiative is perfectly aligned with the theme of Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
More than just a celebration, this event serves as a platform for entrepreneurial connection and collaboration on a grand scale. Aspiring founders can seize this opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas, find potential collaborators, and get feedback from a community of like-minded individuals.
For seasoned entrepreneurs, this event is a chance to give back to the community, serving as mentors and providing valuable insights to the next generation of startup founders.

Organizing a Startup Weekend is a breeze with our comprehensive playbook and guidance. Cities interested in participating are encouraged to form a team of organizers, select a suitable venue, and reach out to potential sponsors. Once these steps are completed, apply on the Techstars website to be included in the event listing.
